Welcome to my brand new website as a new era in my running starts now! Firstly I’ve have gone back to my routes and embraces by Royal Navy background. Going forward my running alias will be “Submarine Runner” across social media my username has been changed to reflect this. My current job is working on the next generation of Royal Navy ships and submarines and felt the time has come to embrace both my past and my future.
So over past few days been working on a brand new website and working with my talented friend Zach to come up with a new logo and I feel the new logo is just stunning, going with a new red, black and white colours scheme (with gold and navy as secondary colours). You may recall I had planned on a Gulf Racing colour scheme but while it’s looks stunning on my motorbike it didn’t fit with me as a runner. The new scheme also fits in with my new club (more on that once everything is confirmed)
So without any further haste here is the brand new logo:
I am very excited about the newly designed website and launch of era, after a turbulent 24 months both in my private and professional life as well as my running career. So after weeks of work and dedication I wanted to make the new website faster, easier to navigate, and more user-friendly.
With a website design and innovation background, it’s important for me to make information regarding what my site is intended for to easily accessible for our current and prospective clients. I endeavour to provide my readership with the most accurate, up-to-date information and share my knowledge, my passion and all my trials and tribulations.
The whole website has been built from the ground up, using the most up to date features. Still using Wordpress at it’s core, the theme is a fresh responsive design, with a ton of amazing new features. The theme takes a fresh look at the world of desktop publishing in today’s modern age of content marketing and flips it on its head with a stunning design, fresh layout options, modern sharing options and integration of most popular extensions for WordPress for maximum flexibility.
Amongst the new features the site contains integrated social media buttons for Facebook, Twitter and Instagram. All connected to brand new social media accounts this is to foster improved communication with the fans, friends, companies. I will be constantly updating our content with race reports,
I would also like to thank Sarah who has donated her time and energy to proof read and test the site before it went live today.
